SHALLOTTE — Pete W. “Sonny Boy” Inman, 77, died Saturday, June 23, 2018.
He was born March 7, 1941, in Brunswick County, the son of the late John Henry Inman and Effie Todd Inman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Inman; and grandsons, Brandon Smith and Cody Hammond.
Prior to retirement, he owned and operated Pete W. Inman Builders Company.
Surviving are his son, Dennis Inman of Bladenboro; daughters, Wanda Smith, Pamela DiCicco, Tammy Rising (Ronnie) and Karen Butler, all of Bladenboro; brothers, Robert Hegge and Junior Inman, both of Shallotte; sister, Doris Hughes of Shallotte; grandchildren, Jonathan Smith, Justin Inman, Alex Inman, Austin Inman, Amanda Pollack, Blake Inman, Savannah Little, Hunter Jackson, Colby DiCicco, Parker Allen, Weston Pidgeon and Jake Butler; and great-grandchildren, Cameron Inman, Myah Inman, Brooklyn Pollack and Maddalynn Dowless.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m., Thursday, June 28, at the chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
