SUPPLY — Ava Lee Carlisle, 91, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
Ava was born April 22, 1927, in Brunswick County, a daughter of the late Joe and Lydia Clemmons McDonald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, J.B. Carlisle.
Surviving are sons, Jimmy Carlisle of Shallotte, Ray Carlisle (Libby) and Gary Carlisle, all of Supply; daughters, Janice Maruszak (Greg) and Teresa White (Steve), all of Supply; sister, Delphia Carlisle of Wilmington; and a total of 27 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 22, at Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte, and other times at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 23, at Oceanview Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
