Charlotte Mills Sullivan, 86, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She was born October 28, 1931 in Brunswick County, NC, daughter of the late Enoch Preston Mills and Mable Long Mills. Her husband, Bill Sullivan, and two sisters, Lucille and Alice, preceded her in death.
Charlotte was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Jane Sullivan and Jan Roberts (Randy); four grandchildren, Dawn Monroe (Brian), Kelly Sellers, Scotty Roberts (Christy), and Jennifer Pullen; nine great-grandchildren, Billy Palmeter, Ryan Monroe, Gage Monroe, Evan Pullen, Bennett Roberts, Abigail Roberts, Robert Sellers, Dave Sellers, and Lena Sellers; two great-great-grandchildren, Brentley and Jason; two sisters, Helen and Raye; and a brother, Thomas.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Wilmington National Cemetery with Trip Child and Rev. Randy Wagner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlotte’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
