
WILMINGTON — Joshua Nash Bryant, 20, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
He was born Dec. 2, 1997, to parents, Clinton Earl Bryant Jr. and Emily Ryan Latham, in Wilmington and was raised in Burgaw, Rocky Point and Wilmington.
Joshua enjoyed playing football, basketball and the trumpet, hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with his family, volunteering at the animal shelter, and taking his beloved cat, “Shadow” for walks on the leash in the park daily and “gaming” with his brother, dad and cousins. His infinite love for his girlfriend, animals and his family were made fully evident every day of his life. He truly loved all others more than himself and is now at rest with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
He was preceded in death by his paternal aunt, Debbie Haulik.
Survivors include his mother, Emily Latham Matthews, and her husband Jeffery; father, Clinton E. Bryant Jr., and his wife, Carol; brother, Clinton E. Bryant III, and his wife, Erin, all of Wilmington; maternal grandparents, Gregory and Diane Latham of Currie; paternal grandmother, Susan Starling, and paternal step-grandfather, Ike Wintin, both of Wilmington; maternal great-grandmother, Peggy Mintz of Wilmington; paternal grandfather, Clinton Earl Bryant Sr. of Wilmington; maternal aunts, Angela Leonard, and her husband “Sportie” of Rocky Point and Shelley Latham; paternal aunts, Jennifer Anderson, and her husband, Russell of Midland, Texasm and Tracy Locklear of Lumberton; stepbrother, Jacob Sivley; stepsister, Savannah Sivley; niece, Adaline Bryant; nephew, Rhett Sivley Hoffman; beloved cousins and best friends, Brice, Nicole, Sophie, Magen, Justus, Lexy, Kelsey, English, Kierstin, Justin, Sierra, Sydney, Jayce and Evan; girlfriend of 3 ½ years, Cheyenne Zepeda of McLaughlin, South Dakota; as well as many dearly loved great aunts and uncles and cousins.
The family will received visitors from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 10, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 11, at Andrews Valley Chapel with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Park with family and friends gathering at The Keys Apartments Clubhouse, 4129 Hearthside Drive, Wilmington, after the committal service.
