SOUTHPORT — Jane Dennis Flynn, 73, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.
Jane was an outgoing, humorous and vibrant lady. She was always the life of the party. She made friends easily and was extremely loyal to each of them.
Jane was a talented artist and a member of the Smith Island Art League. She displayed many works of art in galleries across Brunswick County.
Survivors include her sister, Kathryn Dennis Waybright; nephew, Nathaniel Waybright; niece, Carolyn Kelso, and her husband, David, all of Smyrna, Georgia; numerous stepchildren who she loved and adored; and her precious Tibetan Spaniel, Gracie.
A gathering of friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 9, at Oasis Bar and Grill, 8039 River Road, Highway 133, Southport. In honoring Jane, please wear your favorite beach attire.
