WILMINGTON — James Douglas Smith, 44, died Friday, May 11, 2018. James was born Dec. 28, 1973, in Charlotte and was the son of the late Roger Dale Smith and Joan Sweatt Bullard.
He is survived by his spouse, Juan Carlos Smith; three brothers, Roger Dale Smith Jr., John Ashley Oliver and Curtis Eugene Bullard Jr.; three sisters, Kimberly Michelle Funk, Gena Bullard and Shannon Smith Cherry.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 2, at his home in Wilmington.
