HOLDEN BEACH — Henry Fonnie Jackson, 66, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, Bolivia.

He was born Sept. 15, 1951, in Cumberland County, the son of the late Henry C. Jackson and Evelyn Evans Jackson and was preceded in death by his dog, “Boo Boo.”

Henry was a member of Carroll Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He was employed with the City of Fayetteville as a building inspector for many years until his retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Faye J. Jackson of the home; two daughters, Pheora Laramie, and her husband, Mark, and Laura Davis, both of Fayetteville; three sons, Patrick Lee of Greenville, William Booth, and his wife, Phyllis, of Holden Beach and Gene Booth, and his wife, Charlotte, of Fayetteville; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 19, at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Shallotte Chapel. There will be a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
