WILMINGTON — Gay Lucille Williams, 79, died Monday, April 23, 2018, at her home. She was born Dec. 11, 1938, in Gaston County, N.C., to Harold Eugene Mason and Frances Lucille Blanton Mason.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Malcolm Williams; daughter, Terry Williams Robinson; sisters, Lena Bullard and Ruth Phillips; and brothers, Gene Blanton and Eddie Bullard.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Bryant of Mt. Holly, North Carolina, Robin Long, and her husband, Donald, of Rocky Point, Wanda Drewery, and her husband, Stanley, of Wilmington and April DiMeo, and her husband, Vincent, of Myrtle Beach; son-in-law, Rick Robinson of Mt. Holly; sister, Frances Bullard of Bessemer City, North Carolina; and brother, Alan Bullard, and his wife, Jan, of Kings Mt., North Carolina; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 28, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
