WILMINGTON — Marie Pocahontas Crawford, 86, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was born March 5, 1932, to William Fenner Tucker and Lennis Gatewood Tucker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, George Grant Williams and John Crawford; daughter, Crystal Clement; son, Ricky Dale Williams; sisters: Crystal, Virginia and Dixie; and brothers: Jack, Billy and Bobby.
Mrs. Crawford is survived by her daughters, Robin Martin, and her husband, Tony, of Wilmington, N.C., and Judy Ridenhour, and her husband, Ronnie, of Cleveland, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Jennifer, Charlie, Edward, Tyler, Marissa, Jessica and McKenzie; 11 great grandchildren; sister, June Edwards of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and brother-in-law, Norman Moore of Belhaven, N.C.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 16, at Victory Temple, 3101 Cline School Road, Concord, N.C., with the Rev. Gary Posey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in Rowan Memorial Park, Salisbury, N.C.
