BOLIVIA — Sylvia Marie Stewart Davis, 65, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018, with her family by her side. Sylvia was born Sept. 20, 1952, daughter of the late Charlie Stewart and Emma Mann McNeil.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Stewart; and two brothers, Melvin Stewart and Sam Stewart.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Davis of Southport; children, Tosha Holland of Greenville, N.C., David Stewart of Bolivia, Troy Stewart of Bolivia, Willie Holland of Oklahoma and Maurice Holland of New Jersey; brother, Thomas Stewart of Florida; sisters, Debra Washington of Boiling Spring Lakes, Michelle Hill of Bolivia and Roseanna Jones of Boiling Spring Lakes; special aunt, Luvene Watts of Bolivia; six grandchildren, Jaquan, Julius, Aaron, Alisha, Peyton and Trace; and one great-granddaughter, Anyiah.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 10, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Southport, with the Rev. Samuel Spicer officiating. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
