WILMINGTON — Bonnie Johnson Mitchell, 62, died Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
She was born Sept. 15, 1955, in Burlington, N.C., to Eunice Pauline Johnson and George W. Johnson.

remembered by everyone she ever met.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, R. Edward Mitchell; daughter and son-in-law, Paige Mitchell Garner and Greg Garner; stepson and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kim Mitchell; grandchildren, Barrett Mitchell Garner and Morgan and Brenden Mitchell; sister, Louise Strauss; and brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Elanor Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and the local Humane Society.
