KURE BEACH — Walter Ryczek, 91, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018.
Surviving are three sons, Stephen, Alan and Scott Ryczek; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II in occupied Japan. Walter was employed with Piedmont Airlines for over 42 years retiring as general manager of Reservations.
A funeral Mass will be held 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 6650 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington.
