WILMINGTON — Joyce “Grandma’ Cahill,” 75, passed away Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at her residence. She was born Sept. 17, 1942, in Westchester County, N.Y.
Joyce was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was an avid reader and moved to Wilmington in 1975. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her soulmate and love of her life, Big John, whom she was married to for 45 years. She is now back in his loving arms.
Survivors include her sons, John Cahill, and his wife, Angel, of Charlotte and Eddie Cahill, and his wife, Beth, of Wilmington; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua and Joely Cahill, all of Wilmington.
The family will receive visitors from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 7, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington.
