CASTLE HAYNE — Joel Douglas Faulk, 53, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at his home.
Joel was born May 23, 1964, in Wilmington to Ruby J. Faulk Wolf (Jerry) of Boiling Spring Lakes and the late Jack Douglas Faulk.
Joel attended the Apostolic Church of Wilmington.
Survivors include sons, Jack and Christopher Faulk of Holden Beach; two sisters, Susan Hartman (Ben) of Boiling Spring Lakes and Vanessa Cribb (Jimmy) of Wilmington; best friend, Kim Walker of Wilmington; and a host of family members and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Testimonials to Joel’s life will be offered by Keith Collins and open to the gatherers.
Joel was a loving and caring man who loved cats, especially “Mickey Mouse” cat. In lieu of flowers, please make any contributions to your favorite animal shelter.
