LELAND — Nancy Dail Long, 72, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2017.
She was born Feb. 23, 1945, to the late Archie and Mildred Dail, formerly of Wilmington.
She is survived by her sons, Windel Wilkie Long, David Thomas Long, and his wife, Linda Lieske Long, and Kenneth Ray Long; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
After working for more then 22 years for the New Hanover County Department of Social Services, she retired to enjoy the country life. She loved sitting on the porch enjoying the fresh air.
Family visitation will be held from 4 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Village Road Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
