HAMPSTEAD — Barbara M. Rich, 87, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017. She was born Feb. 16, 1930, in New York.
Mrs. Rich taught first and third grade at Wheeler Avenue Elementary School in Valley Stream, N.Y., before her retirement.
Surviving are her husband of over 62 years, Walter W. Rich; one son, Warren A. Rich; and granddaughter, Jennifer J. Rich.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel. Burial will follow in Sea Lawn Memorial Park.
