WILMINGTON — Walter Thomas “Tommy” Hall, 65, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
Tommy was born Feb. 13, 1952, in Wilmington, to Ruby Riggs Hall and the late Elwood Hall. Tommy was a loving father to his son, Walter Thomas “Tommy Jr.” Hall Jr.
He was the life of the party and could make light of any bad situation. Tommy loved dogs and had many over the years.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Holloway.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Hall; son, Walter Thomas “Tommy Jr.” Hall Jr. (Tommy Jr.); brother, Robert Hall; sister-in-law, Sharon Hall; nephew, Robert Hall; niece, Kelly Hall Bass, and her husband, Brandon Bass; and great-niece, Leigh McCall Bass; along with many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, July 16, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be held at noon Monday, July 17, in Oakdale Cemetery.
Gifts may be sent to Paws Place Dog Rescue in Tommy’s honor.
