CAROLINA SHORES — Brenda Jean Hewett, 60, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017. She was a daughter of the late James L. Gardner and Delores S. Abney of Carolina Shores, who survives.
She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Samson; and husband Randy Hewett.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, Buddy Gardner; sister, Janice Gardner; and stepfather, Glen Speakes.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Thursday, June 29, at Breath of Life Church. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
