Frankie Lee Brantley, 79, retired from The Coca-Cola Company

SUNSET BEACH — Frankie Lee Brantley, 79, died Thursday, May 25, 2017.

Born in Stanly County, N.C., on May 19, 1938, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Brantley Jr. and Mary Lou Eudy Brantley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elayne Lorraine Brantley; and a son, Bart Darin Brantley.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from The Coca-Cola Company as a truck driver. He was a member of Shallotte Masonic Lodge No. 727 A.F. & A.M. and the Oasis Shrine Temple.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria Walker Brantley; daughters, Sharyn “Sissy” Morrison (Randall) of Sunset Beach, N.C., Jennifer McCall (James) of Sunset Beach, N.C., Pamela Cody (Mark) of Marshall, N.C., and Teresa Norris of Charleston, S.C.; sons, Lee Brantley (John Knox) of Davidson, N.C., and Jeffrey Norris (Nancy) of Spring Grove, Ill.; grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Caleb and Bethany Morrison and Kody Clontz; and great-grandchildren, Sunder, Scout and Skylar Morrison.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, at Jennies Branch Baptist Church, where he was an active member, with the Rev. Jonathan Shuler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Masonic rites will be conducted by Shallotte Lodge #727 A.F. & A.M.
