WILMINGTON — Brenda Smith, 72, of Wilmington passed away Friday, May 26, at Davis Community.
Born May 8, 1945 in Greenwood, S.C., she is a daughter of Paul Kennemore and Mildred Watkins Kennemore.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Charles Smith; her sons, Greg Smith (Leslie) and Brian Smith; her grandchildren, Ashley, Robin, Austin and Noah Smith; her brother, Paul Kennemore, Jr (Stuart); and numerous extended family.
Mrs. Smith loved to travel and being a military wife. She was caring and generous to those she knew and loved to laugh and smile. Her kind and charitable heart, her strength and her willingness to help those in need will be missed by all who knew her. Above all, her love for God, her husband and her family will be her legacy.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 2, at Winter Park Baptist Church. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
