WILMINGTON — Tiernie Leeuwenburg Regan, 45, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 11, 2017, after a brief illness.
She was the daughter of Wilton and Betty Leeuwenburg. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend to all. Everyone she met loved her caring, loving and outgoing presence. She cared deeply for everyone who came into her life and would gladly help anyone who was in need.
She is survived by her husband, John M. Regan II; son, John M. Regan III; and her three daughters, Caitlin J. Hunter of Wilmington, Haley A. Hunter of Greenville and Ashley Hunter Henderson (Kendrick) of Fort Bragg.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 19, at Pearsall Memorial Presbyterian Church. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
