LELAND — Donald Joseph Lang Jr., 69, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Susan McFetters Lang.
Mr. Lang was born Sept. 17, 1947, in Detroit, Mich., and had worked as a retail store manager until his retirement. He loved motorcycles and was a member of the Old Fart Motorcycle Riders of Calabash.
He was preceded in death by his son, Peter J. Lang; and parents, Donald J. Lang Sr. and Marian Rodgers Lang.
In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived by his son, Michael Lang; sisters, Carol Lang Webb, and her husband, Michael, of Cornelius, N.C., and Lisa Lang Sandel, and her husband, Billy, of Ridgeway, S.C.; and brother, Kevin J. Lang, and his wife, Christine, of Charleston, S.C.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 9, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
