SOUTHPORT — Margaret Jean “Peggy” Lynch, 72, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., April 8, 1945, to William W. Martin and Emilia Salvatore Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Martin.
She was a registered nurse and attended of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Lynch; son, Brian A. Lynch (Kathleen) of Duxbury, Mass.; daughters, Kelley A. Myer (Pace) of Livingston, Mont., and Erin E. Lynch (fiancee, Emily) of Stratford, Conn.; brothers, James Martin of New York City and William “Billy” Martin of Wolcott, Conn.; sisters, Eileen Hillman of New Fairfield, Conn., and Patricia Martin of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Stella Myer, Emily Lynch and Conor Lynch.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 13, at the Chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Southport/Oak Island Chapel.
