SUPPLY — Johnny Dosher Lockamy, 72, died Saturday, April 8, 2017.
Mr. Lockamy was born in Brunswick County Dec. 6, 1944, and was the son of the late George Lockamy Sr. and Ruby Watts Lockamy Arnold. He was a longtime shrimper and dredge boater.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Lockamy; five children, Annette Lockamy, Teresa Lockamy, Keith Lockamy and Robin Lockamy, all of Shallotte, and Matthew Cruce of Supply; grandchildren, Blake Cruce, Bonni Cruce, Junior Lockamy and Mariam Cruce; brother, George “Buddy” Lockamy Jr. of Bolivia; and three sisters, Princess Robinson of Supply, Mary Jane Greene of Candor and Nellie Maultsby of Winnabow.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, at White Funeral Service Chapel, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, with the Rev. Bobby Norton officiating.
