SUNSET HARBOR — Sandra Stewart, 70, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at SECU Hospice Care Center in Bolivia.
Mrs. Stewart was born Sept. 10, 1946, in Richmond County, daughter of the late Fairley and Edna Saunders Grant. She enjoyed quilting and sharing them with her family. Mrs. Stewart was a member of Sunset Harbor Baptist Church in Bolivia for many years. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Grant and JoLynn Grant, one brother, Roger Grant.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ted Stewart Sr. of Sunset Harbor; daughter, Christina Snead, and her husband, Stephen, of Hamlet; son, Ted Stewart Jr., and his wife, Patty, of Sunset Harbor; one brother, Robert Grant, and his wife, Phyllis, of Rockingham; five grandchildren, Brandon Davis, Christopher Davis, and his wife, Amber, Amanda Stewart, Matthew Stewart, and his wife, Kelby, and Kayla Snead; and four great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Hayes, Averie and Graysen.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb,. 25, at Sunset Harbor Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Tuttle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
