Mary Frances Woosley Arnold, dedicated military wife, mother and homemaker

Mary Frances Woosley Arnold went to join her heavenly family Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017. She was born in Davidson County to the late Lestie and Orville Woosley.

Mary worked on the family farm, as a secretary in a Winston-Salem law firm, and acquired her cosmetology license and opened her ‘beauty shop’ in 1953. She was a dedicated military wife, mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years; Marion Davis “Buddy” Arnold.

She is survived by her three daughters, Ruth Arnold, Sarina Wall (husband, Bobby) and Tammy Arnold; extended family, Joni Midgett and Dana Jaunzemis; grandson, Joshua Locklear; great-grandson, Braydon Locklear; brothers, Franklin (wife, Linda) and Durphy; and many special nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 2730 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem.

The family would like to thank the staff of Davis Community in Wilmington for all their special love and care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas or Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
