Margaret Hamilton Bell, 103, passed peacefully from this earth to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016.
Born Nov. 11, 1913, in Magnolia, N.C., she was the oldest of four girls born to Samuel and Eva Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Angus M. Bell; sisters, Susie H. Carter and Carolyn H. Reid; son-in-law, Robert M. Moore; and great-grandson, Neil S. Williams III.
Margaret loved flowers and was a florist for many years and did many weddings and funeral arrangements. She was a member of Masonboro Baptist Church for many years. She loved people and was loved by many.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane B. Moore; sons, Charles T. Bell and Angus M. Bell Jr.; grandchildren, Deborah Phillips, Cathy M. Williams, Angelia Goggin, David Bell, Eric Bell, Cindy Lanier and Natalie Young; 10 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Masonboro Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Andrews Valley Chapel. Burial will be in Oleander Memorial Gardens following the service.
