BOLIVIA — Juliette Smith Kline, 85, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016. Born in Southport, N.C., on March 3, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John Oren Smith and Olivia Clemmons Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husbands, John Henry Gales and John Henry Kline; and five grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Brenda Cook (Jackie) of Winnabow, N.C., Sherry Willetts (Robert) of Bolivia, N.C., and Doris Grier (Jody) of Homosassa, Fla.; sons, Robert Gales of Boiling Spring Lakes, N.C., and Melvin Douglas Gales of Bolivia; and 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six great- great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 12, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Driggs and the Rev. Ronald Long officiating. Interment will follow in the Robbins Cemetery, Winnabow. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Southport/Oak Island Chapel.
