Nancy Jeanette Rumple, very gifted in crafts

WILMINGTON – Nancy Jeanette Rumple, age 80, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.Nancy Jeanette Rumple

She is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years Lee Edwin Rumple; her five daughters, Belinda Clausen of Burlington Wisconsin, Pamela Mollica of Brookville, Maryland, Deborah Schmerda of West Allis, Wisconsin, Monica Clauson of Delevan, Wisconsin and Leigh Ann Rumple of Cromwell, Indiana; and a son, Brian Rumple of Cromwell, Indiana.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, Melissa Clausen, Damien Clausen, Shannon Moneymaker, Travis Mollica, Joseph Mollica, and Skylar Rumple; and nine great  grandchildren, Cody, Jesse, Kaylee, Ashlee, McKenzie, Travis, Madeline, Olivia and Eleanor.

She was preceded in death by three sisters; Grace Hobbs, Jane Carr, and Susan Gordon, a brother, Edward Gurganious, and a granddaughter, Cheyenne Rumple.

She was born on  Jan. 19, 1936, in New Hanover County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Blanche (Pigott) Gurganious.

As a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, she was very gifted in crafts, especially making beaded jewelry. She enjoyed singing in the choir at Harbor United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016,  at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel. Memories or condolences to the family may be shared online.
