WILMINGTON – Deborah Cole Jones (Debbie), 58, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016.
Mrs. Jones was born in Elizabethtown, North Carolina, on March 14, 1958. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bille Cole Winebar and father, John Elwood Cole, and her sister, Johnnie Cole Nitshcke.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Eddie Jones; sisters, Sue Guyton (Dural), Carol Davis, Mary Cole (Burrell Ladd) and Doxiene Smith (Randy); brother-in-law, Ozzie Nitschke; several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
The family will see friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dodd Mays. Burial will be in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
