WILMINGTON – Nancy Jane Rodilosso, 71, of Wilmington, N.C., passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Born April 23, 1945, in Savannah, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Norman B. Wenk and Muriel E. Weber Wenk.
She is formerly of Garden City, N.Y., and the North Fork of Long Island. She has been living in Wilmington, N.C., since 2000.
She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and sister who lived for her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Philip T. Rodilosso; her daughters, Lisa Rodilosso-Smer (William) and Susanne Gravelle (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Catherine Smer, Abigail Smer, Ellot Smer, Gavin Gravelle and Julian Gravelle; her sister, Linda Mercurio; her brother, Norman Wenk III (April); and her sister-in-law, Lois Kaivani Rodilosso (Pete).
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market St., Wilmington, N.C. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at Frank H. Kenan Chapel in Landfall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation, 2259 S. 17th St., Wilmington, NC 28401.
