Flossie Dolores Hufham, 73, founded The Sweet Oven Bakery

Flossie Dolores Hufham, 73, of Bolivia, passed away on July 11, 2016, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center.

Flossie was born April 4, 1943, in Southport, the daughter of Paul Edward Hufham and Helen Willetts Hufham. She was a member of Bolivia Baptist Church and worked and volunteered at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Flossie founded and was the owner and operator of The Sweet Oven Bakery. She was a member of Straw Hat Theater and Thalian Association, and was a published author of poetry and novels.

She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, daughter and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother, Helen Hufham of Bolivia; a son, Hayden Clark (Sherri) of Wilmington; two daughters, Ursula Hash (Norman) of Morrisville, and Heather Clark of North Augusta, South Carolina; a brother, Eddy Hufham of Medway, Ohio; two grandchildren, Aaron Clark (Brittany) and Kaylee Clark; and two great-grandchildren, Nathan Clark and Alli Clark.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13 at Bolivia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Driggs officiating.
