Forrest “Dean” Glasscock, 48 of Boiling Spring Lakes, passed away peacefully at his home on June 30, 2016.
Dean was born Oct. 26, 1967, in Halifax County, Va., to the late Forrest Dale Glasscock and Joan Mattia DeBruhl. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved NFL football. Dean was the biggest UNC fan you would ever meet. He always was available to lend a helping hand, with no expectation of anything in return. To meet him was to love him.
Dean is survived by his sister, Jenine Glasscock Coffield and fiancée Larry Thorpe; brothers, David Michael DeBruhl and Timothy Lee DeBruhl (Melissa); three nieces, Ciara, Savanna and Bobbi Jo; a nephew, Christopher; two great-nieces and three great-nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the Boiling Spring Lakes Fire Department.
