James Richard Bennett, 54, of Ash, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 15, 1961, in Charleston, a son of the late Mansel Glenn and Annie Louise Bennett.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Ward Bennett; daughter, Hope B. Skagg (James) of Ash; brother, Glenn Bennett (Susan) of Ash; three sisters, Annette Bennett of Longwood, Sabrina B. Babson (Randy) of Ash and Tammie B. Lewis (Alan) of Shallotte; special buddy, Hunter Bennett Smith; and several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Andrews UMC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
