Lena Louise ‘Lee’ DeRasmo, 88, avid bridge player who loved to walk

Lena Louise ‘Lee’ DeRasmo, 88, died Thursday, May 26, 2016. Born in Altoona, Pa., on July 24, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Theresa Martellacci.

A homemaker, she was an avid bridge player and loved to walk for recreation. Lee was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Nick DeRasmo.

Surviving are her son, James R. ‘Jim’ DeRasmo of Toronto, Canada; daughters, Jeanne Marie Boggs (Jay) of Supply, and Jacqueline Lee Azinger (Michael) of Vienna, W. Va.; sisters, Muffy Scalzi of Altoona, Pa., and Dora Gandy (Robert) of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Sara, Joanna, Thomas, Zachary and Sophie; and great-grandchild, Evans.

Private services will be held at St. Brendan The Navigator Catholic Church at a later date.
