Barbara Ann Ficke, 67, of Carolina Shores died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016.
She was born March 21, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late William John Senft and Dorothy May Loos. Barbara was the manager of Bloomingdale Consignment Shop and was a volunteer with the Relay for Life Village at Calabash.
Surviving are her husband, Charles “Bud” Ficke; son, Brian Mark Ficke of St. Leonard, Maryland; daughter, Brandyn Lynn Ficke-Carlson of St. Leonard, Maryland; four brothers, David Senft of Florida, William Senft Jr of Baltimore, Maryland, Dennis Senft of Baltimore, Maryland and Bruce Senft of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters, Sharon Tracey of Carolina Shores and Irene Dunk of Seaford, Delaware; grandchildren, Jason and wife Lauren, Brice, Jenna, Brooke, Connor, D.J. and Braylen.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13 in the Village at Calabash Clubhouse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Relay for Life Village at Calabash, 1099 Clubview Lane, Calabash, NC 28467.
