Robert “Bob” Francis Haight, 67, of Calabash, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016.
He was born June 22, 1948 in Troy, New York, son of the late Francis and Mary Ellen Zibell Haight. Bob was a truck driver and traveled from coast to coast. He was a Vietnam veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was member of the Calabash VFW Post 7228 as Senior Vice Commander.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Haight of the home; daughter, Sandra Conahan (Michael) of Ware, Massachusetts; brothers, Michael Haight of Maryland and Paul Haight of New York; sisters, Susan McCormick of New York, MaryAnn Bascone of Georgia and Debra Haight of Florida; and three grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Nicholas.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11 in the Calabash VFW.
