Robert Julian Sellers, 63, of Supply, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 25, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, a son of the late Edward Julian and Mary Glenn Sellers. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Ralph Sellers and Forrest Sellers.
He was a US Army veteran and was a heavy equipment mechanic for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Williams Sellers; three daughters, Kippy D. Hughes (Gerin), of Ash, Maggie Ross (Matt), of Nakina, and Meagan Kluttz (Chris), of Shallotte; sister, Martha Hewett (James) of Supply; five grandchildren; and a special nephew, Mark Hewett (Michelle), and their son, Cory Carlisle.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29 in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel by the Rev. Landis Lancaster. Burial will follow in the Riley Sellers/Fred Cumbee Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kevin Hewett, Dean Cumbee, Ricky Hewett, Michael Chadwick, Randy Earl Hewett and Corey Carlisle.
Mr. Sellers requested in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
