Gregory Jarrad Covington, 22, of Leland passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016.
He was born Dec. 1, 1993 in Newark, New Jersey, the son of Cassandra Watson and step-father Elvis Cotten.
Gregory played football during his time in high school at North Brunswick. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing video games and was a devoted and loving father to his son, Zayton Covington.
He is survived by his mother, Cassandra Watson; son, Zayton Covington; two brothers, Tayvon Jackson and Tamil Jackson; sister, Precious Watson; and numerous other friends and family members.
A service at Goshen Baptist Church will be announced at a later date.
