Linda Ann Schottman, 75, of Sunset Beach, formerly of Flemington, New Jersey, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Schottman was born on April 11, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Michael and Josephine Corchran Byrne.
She retired as a legal secretary for the Superior Court judges in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. She was also a member of the Calabash Elks Lodge, Sandpiper Bay Golf and Country Club, Red Hat Society, and was an avid mahjong player.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Robert Schottman; three sons, John Mulligan, of Oak Grove, Minnesota, Kevin Mulligan, of Pompano Beach, Florida, and Tom Mulligan (Mary Jo), of Rock Ledge, Florida; daughter, Stacie Edwards (Wayne), of New Bedford, Massachusetts; sister, Millie Bryant, of Escondido, California; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 4 in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel by the Rev. Jason L. Benton. Burial will follow in the Brunswick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
