Nathan Edwards, 73, of Ash, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015. He was the son of Nuley and Ada McKeithan Edwards.
He was a saw mill owner and a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Nuley Wayne Edwards and his wife, Doris Little Edwards.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Hewett; granddaughters Jessica Todd, Samantha Edwards, Leanna Edwards, Deanna Keatts and Jackie Normandy; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7 at Brunswick Funeral Service in Shallotte by the Rev. Bob Rea.
