Gerald Maxwell “Coon Man” Bruton, 54, of Castle Hayne passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at Brunswick Cove Living Center.
Geraldm “Coon Man” as he is known by his friends, was born Aug. 26, 1961. He is the son of Cary G. Bruton and the late Hilda Cayton Bruton.
Survivors include his daughter, Candice Borjas of Belville; one brother, Gill Bruton of Charlotte; one sister, Sabrina Keys of Wilmington; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23 at the Bordeaux Family Cemetery in Castle Hayne. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the graveside service at the cemetery.
