Eddie Lassiter, 78, of Oak Island, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 in the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick in Bolivia.
Mr. Lassiter was born on June 22, 1937 in Davidson Co., a son of the late Bascom E. and Elizabeth Ogburn Lassiter.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 59 years, Meredith Davis Lassiter; son, Chuck Lassiter and wife Karen, of Newport; daughter Lisa Dawn Beeson and husband Mark, of Greensboro; sister Ethel Mae Lassiter, of Thomasville; and two grandsons, Stephen and Jacob Lassiter.
A celebration of life will be conducted from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, in the Shady Grove Wesleyan Church Fellowship Hall, 119 N. Bunker Hill Rd, Colfax, NC 27235.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
