Odell Maxton Gore, 85, US Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict

obit flagOdell Maxton Gore, of Bolivia, died Sept. 7, 2015, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was 85.

Mr. Gore was born Sept. 27, 1929, in Brunswick County, son of the late Jack and Estelle Gore.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Gore was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ellen Gore and son, Morgan Dale Gore.

Surviving are his daughter, Karen Gore Stallings and husband Robert, of Bolivia; grandchildren, Morgan Crouse and Randa Crouse; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Mill Creek Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow at noon at Willetts Cemetery, with the Rev. Jack Edge officiating.
