Carol Ann “Caccy” Cressman died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at the age of 56.
She was born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania on Sept. 4, 1958.
Caccy served with the Lower Cape Fear Hospice as an administrative coordinator. She had a passion for cooking, decorating, hospitality and entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed all sports and previously worked for the Memphis Redbirds and the New Orleans Saints before moving to Wilmington after Hurricane Katrina.
Caccy is survived by her parents, Norman and Joanne Cressman, of Magnolia Greens in Leland; sisters, Bobbi Kuhn and spouse Roger and Mary Moyer and spouse Bob, all of Wilmington; brother, Tom Cressman and spouse Kathy, of Pennsylvania; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends and co-workers who loved her very much.
A casual and colorful celebration of life memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Light refreshments will be served during the gathering. Please wear casual and colorful clothing to remember Caccy.
