Thomas Edison Hall passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Pender County, September 25, 1933 to the late Harvey D. Hall, Sr. and Annie Dallas Hall. He was preceded in death by his step-father Charles “Joe” Hicks, sister Faye Rivenbark, and brother Harvey D. Hall, Jr.
Thomas had retired from Maola Milk & Ice Cream Co after 33 years of service. He loved his work and he also loved in-sound fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie Swinson Hall, three sons, Thomas I. Hall and wife Carla, Johnny D. Hall and wife Cindy, and Robert M. Hall , also 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, two brothers, Floyd Hall and Wayne Hall, and one sister Susie Terry.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Andrews Hampstead Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 4 to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hampstead Baptist Church, 67 Factory Rd, Hampstead, NC 28443 and the family would especially like to thank the Men of the Church.
