WILMINGTON — Westbound lanes in the 4300 block of Market Street will be temporarily closed starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2.
Crews will close both inner westbound lanes of Market Street between N. Kerr Avenue and Princess Place Drive, with traffic shifted into the westbound right-turn lane. Westbound traffic will then be detoured via Princess Place Drive to Barclay Hills Drive and back to Market Street.
Businesses located on the westbound side of the 4300 block of Market Street will be accessible via their driveways from Princess Place Drive.
Eastbound lanes of Market Street will remain open in the 4300 block, but left turns from Market Street onto Princess Place Drive will not be allowed during the closure. Drivers will be detoured via Barclay Hills Drive.
The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately 8 hours while crews replace damaged water valves in the area.
