WILMINGTON — Beginning Monday, Sept. 22, the New Hanover County-owned parking deck located at 212 N. Second Street (between Chestnut and Grace streets) will reopen for public use. The deck has been closed since Aug. 4 to allow for essential structural repairs.
The deck will provide free and accessible parking for the new Main library branch downtown once it opens later this fall, along with general public use. The reopening will allow parking access for monthly pass holders, individuals called for jury duty, and hotel users in downtown Wilmington.
