PENDER COUNTY — Topsail High School has hired Keith Moore, former athletic director at New Hanover High School, as the new athletic director.
“I am excited about being at Topsail High School for this next chapter in my career,” Moore said. “I look forward to working with student-athletes, coaches, administration, faculty, and the community. This is a great opportunity for all of us to move forward together as a team in the same direction.”
Moore served as athletic director at New Hanover High School from 2001 to 2021, where he was part of nine team individual state championships.
Before moving into athletic administration, Moore built an accomplished coaching career. From 1989 to 1996, he led the North Brunswick High School baseball program, culminating in a state championship in 1996. He later served as head baseball coach at New Hanover High School from 1998 to 2001.
