BRUNSWICK COUNTY — The Town of Belville invites community members and visitors to celebrate veterans services on Monday.

The annual event honors the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of American veterans at Belville Riverwalk Park. There will be a presentation by Joyce Swift, who will present a gift to the town, as well as keynote and guest speakers.

Tributes will be given, veterans will be recognized and songs will be performed by Chris McKinley and Mary Curry.

“Our Veterans Day celebration is a small way for us to express our deepest gratitude to the men and women who have bravely served our country,” Belville Mayor Mike Allen said in a release. “Their commitment and sacrifice are the foundation of our freedom, and it’s our privilege to honor them together as a community. This day is dedicated to celebrating their courage, recognizing their contributions, and reminding them that Belville stands with them, always.”
